This book, along with its prequel (Sapiens), gives readers a comprehensive overview of the homo sapiens experience. From its entrance onto its planetary histrionic boards through to its potential future, it presents a clear, well-supported, and easy-to-follow justification of homo sapiens’ position, impact, and future through a kaleidoscopic lens of discovery, science, evolution, philosophy, intelligence, medicine, psychology, sociology, history, politics, economics, technology, and religion.

This series, I feel, should be a highly recommended (if not a personal mandatory) read for anyone entering a profession in any of these fields. The ideas presented are bound to challenge established dogmas, varying views and perspectives, and, at the very least, spark thoughtful insights and possible healthy discourse among this primate species to which we all belong.
